WSL Qualifying Series de 2020 – Vejam as etapas deste primeiro trimestre.

Vai começar a corrida pelas vagas para o acesso ao World Surf League Championship Tour 2021. Começou nesta segunda-feira dia 06 de Janeiro, na Ilha de Hainan Island, na China o WSL Qualifying Series de 2020.

Com o Corona Open China hosted by Wanning Wanning, nas categorias masculina e feminina, ambos com status de QS 5000, valendo preciosos pontos na Elite do Surf Mundial para 2021. Nesta primeira etapa o peruano Lucca Mesinas é o único sul-americano inscrito.

No masculino ao todo serão 22 eventos com 17 confirmados e 05 aguardando confirmações neste semestre. Já no feminino ao todo serão 15 eventos com 11 confirmados e 04 aguardando confirmações. No Brasil vale destacar a etapa na Ilha de Fernando de Noronha com o Hang Loose Pro 2020.

CHALLENGER SERIES – Outro componente importante para a temporada 2020, será a implantação do WSL Challenger Series. O Qualifying Series de 2020 – o circuito de acesso para a elite do CT – contará com dois segmentos principais: o Challenger Series com eventos valendo 10.000 pontos para o ranking do QS, e os eventos com status QS 5000, QS 3000, QS 1500 e QS 1000, que também pontuam no ranking que classifica dez surfistas para o CT.
